Our Lord commissioned us to make disciples; baptizing them in the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to teach them everything He has commanded us.  Our purpose at Winfree Baptist Church is to be obedient to that commission. With a rich history of over 100 years, we have a desire to see people won to Christ and to grow as Christians.  This church has faithfully served this community since 1915 and we believe God will continue to use our church to reach the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are committed to going wherever, whenever to reach whomever He desires! We are committed to being Obedient to His Commission! 

Winfree Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention and the national Southern Baptist Convention.  We support the cooperative programs of the SBC, the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board.  Through these entities, we help propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ at home and abroad.  We ascribe to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.  You can download and read this statement of faith here.
